Niyati Barlow

 Niyati completed her degree in Textiles/Fashion at Winchester School of Art in the early eighties specialising in silk screen printing.  She has lived in Ditchling for the last ten years working as a milliner and textile designer to fit in with family life. Since collaborating with Easelles she has experimented with oils for the first time, enjoying still life and the playfulness of light and colour.  More recently she has moved into collage and this has brought about a desire to bring print making back into her work with an entirely new and experimental approach. This year's Open House show will include collagraph prints and ceramics.
